About Big Bite Buffalo
EAT, DRINK, HANG OUT!
Big Bite Buffalo celebrates vegan living with food, drinks, shopping, speakers, information on local animal sanctuaries and activists groups, and activities.
We're serving up a variety of food, beverages, merch, specialty goods, arts, craft products, and more. There will be speakers, yoga, and croquet, with room to enjoy beautiful Delaware Park.
Big Bite Buffalo is happening in Delaware Park, specifically at the Parkside Lodge and the surrounding green space. The area is near the running loop and golf course pro shop, and along Parkside Avenue.

What does "Vegan" mean?
Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.
By extension, it promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment.
In dietary terms it means abstaining with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.
-From the Vegan Society
The phrase "Plant-based" can be used to describe people who eat a diet that revolved around plants, but who don't follow the philosophy or ethics of veganism. It can also be used by businesses that offer plant-based, vegan friendly meals but do not follow vegan philosophy.
Big Bite is a pending non-profit animal welfare organization in New York. It aims to support initiatives in the greater Buffalo area towards protecting animals, that: spread awareness about animal rights issues, and educate the public on what they can do to live healthy, cruelty-free lives with vegan ethos.
Big Bite Buffalo is founded by Alexa Frandina, a vegan who works as an event producer and event manager, and has made some of the largest music, art, and lifestyle events happen in the USA over the last decade. She has been involved with veganism in Buffalo through activism and has ownership of a vegan bakery.
